Reviews of this place were good and they are right. For a budget motel in the historical district it’s better than we expected. The staff was very nice. Breakfast, though a crowded space (be prepared to take it to your room) was good and copious. Location fantastic. Sound machine provided in the room, which made a huge difference bc it was noisy. Never had used one but it was great. Look, if you don’t want to pay a lot you have to put up with some stuff. It was Christmas weekend with record cold. We were afraid it would be a dive but it definitely was not. Clean and comfortable. Convenient.

The pictures do not do justice to these rooms: they are much better in reality. We first stayed for 2 days at Hilton Garden Inn just in front and ended up moving to the Best Western for the Friday night, as it was less expensive, by a lot. We preferred the Best Western and thought we should have stayed there from the start. It was really comfortable and the rooms are well designed. Great location too. Didn't have the breakfast so can't comment but it is a plus that it is included.

The location is excellent. It's within within walking distance of the riverfront, city market, and tons of great restaurants. Parking is manageable, but beware they charge $30 per day to park. The staff is very friendly and the free breakfast is hot with a wide variety of food. The beds were extremely comfortable and the guests were mostly couples and families, so no loud partying or noises at night.

As stated in previous reviews, the location is perfect… steps away from Riverwalk… so much to do and see. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety and was hot and delicious. Our room was clean and spacious. The ac kept the room cool to our preference. We were aware of the parking fee at booking time and understand urban locations typically charge for parking.

The room was clean and comfortable. I was afraid it would be dated or dumpy but, it wasn't. All the areas including the rooms were updated and attractive. It was a perfect location because, it was a short walk to the river. That's what I wanted. Also, the best restaurants and attractions were close by as well! This was a great location for the money!!!
